Guidelines for attending a Pagan Pride Event.
Pagan Pride
events:
-
Are to educate the general public about pagans and
paganism, to dispel misinformation and stereotypes.
-
Are free for all to attend
-
Are not about competition, nor are they design/held
to compete with another event.
-
Are open to the public and for all to attend. They
do not refuse attendance to anyone based on politics, witch
wars, or prejudice. (It's sometimes hard to have to allow
people to attend when you don’t agree with them or what they
stand for but it's best for the community.)
-
Should be hosted/sponsored by the people living in
the city/town in which they are held. This prevents hard
feelings arising between individuals and groups.
-
Need to be held in an area open to the general
public like a city park.
-
Are not limited to being sponsored only by PPP
International. One can hold an event and call it Pagan
Pride.
If you are considering attending a Pagan Pride event
that does not follow these basic guidelines, you may want to ask
yourself if this is an event you should be supporting.
